Back to business

Don't let the new seasoncatch you improvising.

Your company can be running well and still communicate far less value than it actually holds. A good content strategy for companies isn't about publishing more — it's about deciding what deserves to be told, where to tell it, and how to sustain it long enough to build recognition and trust.

While you focus on running day-to-day operations, other brands are quietly taking space: they publish, they show up in search, they test new formats, they work with creators, and they use new tools to produce more — and better.

You don't need to be everywhere. You need to know where to be, what to say, and how to do it consistently.

Content & Communication Checkup · €59

Personalised diagnostic + 2–3 priority actions.

Recognition

You've probably lived through one of these.

For most companies the problem isn't a lack of value. It's the absence of a communication strategy able to turn that value into content that is consistent, recognisable and genuinely useful for the business.

01

My competitors seem to be everywhere.

Not necessarily with a better product or service. Just more visible, more consistent, easier to remember.

02

We know we should publish more, but we never get there.

Ideas are not the problem. Time, structure and execution are.

03

Even the shop next door is working with creators.

More and more businesses are folding natural content, vertical video and creators into their communication without building large productions.

04

Everything is changing too fast.

Vertical video, UGC, AI, social commerce, new formats, new channels — while you still have to run the business you already have.

05

We have a marketing team. The bottleneck is execution.

The calendar exists. The ideas exist. But the team has twenty other priorities before they can actually produce it.

Your competitors don't need to be better than you. They only need to be easier to discover, understand and remember.

Method

It's not about publishing more. It's about building something.

Communication should make the real value of a company visible from the outside too.

01

Value

Identify what already deserves to be told.

Before producing content, we identify the value that already exists inside the business: people, knowledge, product, processes, experience, culture, decisions and stories. It isn't about inventing value. It's about finding it and putting it in order.

02

Recognition

Turn that value into something visible and recognisable.

We turn that value into messages, stories, formats and a consistent presence so that people understand the company, identify it and remember it.

03

Trust

Sustain it until the barriers to choosing you come down.

Consistency, people, processes, judgment and experience progressively build trust before any decision to buy, collaborate or hire.

Value → Recognition → Trust. And storytelling connects the three layers.

An effective content strategy connects those three layers: the value a company already holds, how that value becomes communication, and how that presence is sustained until it earns recognition and trust.

Corporate content starts inside the company, not on Instagram.

Before choosing formats or channels, we look for the stories, expertise and proof that make the business different. Only then do we decide whether the best way to tell it is LinkedIn, video, photography, reels, the website, campaigns or somewhere else.

Storytelling

Storytelling connects the three layers.

It isn't about inventing a nice story. It's about explaining what already exists more clearly.

01Why the brand exists.
02Why the business was created.
03Who is behind it.
04The founder or founders.
05The people on the team.
06How the work gets done.
07What happens behind the product.
08What a normal day looks like.
09What decisions the company makes.
10What it has learned.
11What makes its way of working different.
12What the customer needs to know.
13Customer stories.
14Craft, culture and process.

When a brand stops talking only about what it sells and starts explaining why it exists, how it works and who's behind it, it becomes much easier to understand, remember and trust.

You may not need to hire an agency. Not yet.

Before we talk about reels, campaigns, photography, UGC, ads or AI, I'd rather understand what's actually happening.

That's why the Content & Communication Checkup exists.

Not sure whether you need a new strategy, more content, or simply to bring order to what you already do?

After the checkup

And if you then need help executing it…

You don't need to hire everything. First we decide how much you need us to take on. Then we choose the tools.

01

Ongoing content

Production. You set the direction, we execute.

For companies that already have a defined strategy and need content produced on a regular basis: photography, video, social pieces and brand materials, with judgment and continuity.

VRC Programme™ · Direction + execution

We define what to communicate — and we produce it.

Nacho Barrio Studio leads the communication strategy — what value to tell, with which messages and on which channels — and produces it too, so direction and execution never live apart.

03

External communication direction

When there isn't internal capacity to carry it all.

Nacho Barrio Studio takes on a broader strategy and communication role for companies without a full internal team: planning, editorial judgment, spotting opportunities and continuous execution.

what to do if your company has no marketing department

Capabilities

Tools, not standalone products.

The tools depend on the problem.

  • 01Communication strategy.
  • 02Content strategy.
  • 03Storytelling.
  • 04Photography.
  • 05Video.
  • 06Reels and social content.
  • 07UGC.
  • 08Creative ads.
  • 09Visual direction.
  • 10AI applied to communication.
  • 11Creative AI workflows.
  • 12Workshops for teams.

You don't need everything. First we decide what makes sense.

And if nobody wants to be on camera?

Some companies have knowledge, product and stories worth telling — but no one who feels comfortable communicating them on camera.

When the format calls for it, Nacho can also take on the on-camera presentation of certain content.

AI

AI accelerates. Judgment decides.

I use AI inside the process to analyse, conceptualise, generate alternatives, prototype, organise and produce faster. But the tool never replaces strategy, storytelling or visual direction.

For you

This may be for you if…

  • Your business works, but your communication doesn't reflect it.
  • You know you should be doing more with social and content.
  • Your competitors seem to be communicating better.
  • You have plenty of ideas but limited execution capacity.
  • You have a marketing team, but it's stretched thin.
  • You're not sure whether you need photography, video, UGC, ads, strategy — or simply order.
  • You want to bring AI in but don't know where it adds real value.
  • You want to enter the new season with a clearer direction.

Probably not

And probably not for you if…

  • You're looking for a magic formula.
  • You expect guaranteed results without changing anything.
  • You just want to publish for the sake of publishing.
  • You're looking for the cheapest possible provider.
  • You don't want to spend any time explaining your business.

Who's behind this

Nacho Barrio

I'm Nacho Barrio — creative, photographer, videographer and content strategist.

For more than 12 years I worked at Apple in roles related to communication, training, technology and customer experience.

Today I help brands, businesses and teams communicate better by combining strategy, storytelling, visual production, content and AI tools.

My work moves between understanding the problem, finding the story, and being able to execute it.

For companies

When the real company is better than the perceived one.

In many B2B, industrial, technology and service companies there is far more value inside the business than anyone sees from the outside. Teams, processes, expertise, facilities, experience and technology that clients and candidates barely get to discover.

Communication strategy is the work of turning that internal value into external signals that help the company be understood, remembered and considered.

Frequently asked questions

Before we start.

What is a content strategy for companies?
A content strategy defines what a company should communicate, to whom, with what objective, in which formats and with what continuity. Content is the execution; the strategy decides why each piece exists at all.
What's the difference between creating content and directing communication?
Creating content means producing pieces. Directing communication means deciding what deserves to be told, which messages to prioritise, how the channels connect and how to keep one coherent narrative over time.
Do I need to publish on every social platform?
No. Channel choice depends on the business, its audiences and its objectives. The priority is being where it makes sense and being able to sustain it consistently.
Do you work with companies that have no marketing department?
Yes. The VRC Programme™ can act as an external layer of strategy, direction and execution when there is no internal person or team able to carry the whole of communication.
Do you only work in Barcelona?
Nacho Barrio Studio is based in Barcelona and works with companies both on site and remotely, depending on what the project needs.
